Eva Scobie - Jane

Joe Apollonio - Teddy

Christine Spang is a New York City based performer. Born and raised in Miami, Florida. Spang's mother is Cuban and her father is German and thus attributes her German work ethic but Cuban sass to their influences. Spang pursued a BFA in Drama at Tisch School of the Arts at NYU training at the Stella Adler Studio and at Stonestreet Studios for Film and Television.

Spang is thrilled to be joining the cast & crew of Evening News & can’t wait to see the character of Olivia actualized.

Eva is in first grade and this is her first acting role in a short film. She loves making and playing with slime. She is very happy and pleased to be involved with this project and likes making the director laugh.

Kyle Axman - Peter

Art McFarland - Benjamin

Joe Apollonio is an NYC-based actor. He loves acting very much, but tries to maintain other interests in life so that he doesn't get easily swayed by the inherent ups and downs of the industry. When he's not working on set or in class he's skateboarding with friends and making skate videos. He has a small speaking role in Dan Fogelman's Life Itself, which will be in theaters this year.

Kyle Axman is an NYC-based actor, born and raised in Atlantic Beach, Long Island. His passion for musical theatre and palm trees brought him to the University of Miami, where he received his BFA in 2013. Since then, he has been pounding the pavement in the NY-scene, appearing in numerous Off-Broadway plays, Television shows, and National Commercials. Kyle spends his days in front of a camera in the "at-home fitness" industry as well; he is one of the founding indoor-cycling trainers on the "FlyWheel Anywhere" platform, streamed live and on-demand throughout the country, daily. Kyle is an avid Triathlete also teaches Flywheel in the NYC downtown studios as well. Kyle is stoked to work with such an awesome team on EVENING NEWS!

After many years as an on-air journalist in television and radio, Art McFarland has made a full-time return to his love of acting.  He received training as an actor at the University of Michigan and the Juilliard School Drama Division before becoming a news Anchor and Reporter, most notably at WABC-TV in New York.  He also continues to study acting at the Wynn Handman Studio.  After recently retiring from television news, he appeared on the New York stage by originating the title role in Amiri Baraka’s final play, “The Most Dangerous Man in America” at the New Federal Theater, where he was also part of the ensemble for the award winning revival of Martin Duberman’s “In White America.”  He has made guest appearances in television drama for “House of Cards” on Netflix and the USA Network’s “Political Animals.”
